I'm not an expert in anything. I'm an ordinary person who gets things wrong a lot and is still learning how to live.
I didn't make Humanauta because I have the answers, but because I'm still looking for them.
Many times I've caught myself chasing things I thought mattered: more money, more work, more stuff. And meanwhile I kept putting off what really mattered.
- A phone call.
- A dinner with no rush.
- A hug I didn't give.
As kids, we needed almost nothing to be happy. A game, a laugh, someone to share the afternoon with. When did we make things so complicated?
We grew up and started living in waiting.
- Monday to Friday, waiting for the weekend.
- January to December, waiting for vacation.
- A whole life, waiting for happiness to arrive later.
But happiness wasn't later. It was along the way.
At a shared table. In the health we take for granted. In the people who are here today and one day won't be.
Money matters, of course. Nobody lives on air. But it isn't everything. And when we make it everything, we slowly end up alone.
Full of things and empty of time.
We also struggle to live in peace with others. We get angry at everything, judge quickly and want everyone to think like us. And we forget that every person carries a struggle we can't see.
Sometimes what weighs on us most isn't what happens to us, but what we don't dare to decide. Some people spend years somewhere that dims them, out of fear, to look good or to avoid making waves.
And one day they look back and can't understand where the time went.
I'm not writing to you from above. I'm writing from the same place you are: with good days and hard days, with things I still need to change.
Humanauta is what I wish I'd found sooner. A place to stop for a moment, look at yourself honestly and practice, day by day, what makes us more human:
- listening
- forgiving
- not judging
- being grateful
- being present
You won't find sermons here. You'll find short routes, with stories that look like real life, for kids, teens and adults. You can start with the one that hurts most, or the one you're most curious about.
We're only passing through, and time flies. But every morning brings a new chance to start over.
It's always a good time.
